  • Arrival to Ben Gurion airport (Arrival to Tel Aviv should be for late afternoon Oct 15. If you wish to arrive early or stay later in Israel--we can help with hotel arrangements.)

Tuesday, Oct 16 (Breakfast is provided.)

Touring Tel Aviv/Jaffa including:

  • Rabin Center

  • Nachalat Binyamin arts and crafts market
  • Tel Aviv gay community center
  • Memorial to the LGBTQ community members that were victims of the Holocaust

Touring Caesarea and Haifa (including a meeting at a community home) and finally, visting Rosh HaNikra.

Saturday, Oct 20 (Breakfast and lunch are provided.)

Touring in West Bank with Rami Nazzar

Drive north to the Qalandia checkpoint to cross into the Palestinian territories and proceed along the separation barrier on the Palestinian side to visit Al-Ram and Dahayit Al-Barid. Learn about the impact the wall has had on the local residents and nearby areas. Continue back to the checkpoint on the Palestinian side to observe the procedures of the borders and barriers leading in and out of the West Bank. Proceed north and visit a Palestinian refugee camp; meet with local residents and visit their homes. Drive through the Palestinian city of Al-Bira to visit a home located back to back with the Israeli settlement of Psagot. We make our way to see the P.L.O. building and the Muqhata, located in Ramallah. Continue north to the Christian village of Jifna. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then visit the new Palestinian city of Rawabi. Proceed along the Israeli by-pass road to route 60 to Bethlehem. Observe the graffiti on the separation barrior by British and Australian graffiti artists Banksy and Lushsux. Visit the Banksy hotel then see the Manger Square and the Church of the Nativity. Proceed through Shepherds Field before returning to your hotel in Jerusalem.

Visit Masada and the Dead Sea with a swim and use of facilities at a hotel spa before returning to Jerusalem.

Tuesday, Oct 23 (Breakfast, a light lunch and a farwell dinner are provided.)

See the New City of Jerusalem – Yad Vashem and enjoy a Machane Yehuda culinary tour with a tasting.  The afternoon is spent at your leisure before we gather together for a farewell dinner and the transfer to Ben Gurion airport.

Wednesday, Oct 24 (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.)

For those travelling to Jordan, we suggest that you bring an overnight bag and leave your main luggage in Jerusalem.  We will store your luggage and return it to you when you land back in Tel Aviv after Jordan on Oct 27.

  • Morning departure from Jerusalem to the King Hussein/Allenby bridge
  • Assistance with border formalities on both sides
  • Meeting at the Jordanian terminal with your guide
  • Proceed to Amman – capital of Jordan for a tour of the city.
  • Check into your hotel
  • This evening, enjoy dinner at Amman's "Books at Café" – hub of social awareness and activity in the middle east. 
  • Meet with Madian – owner of the property.  Learn about life east of the Jordan River from his perspective.

Overnight:  Landmark hotel, Amman

Thursday, Oct 25 (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided.)

Depart from Amman and visit Madaba – the town of Mosaics. Then on to Mount Nebo – the site where Moses looked into the Promised land. Afterwards, proceed through the Jordanian countryside to Petra, one of the modern 7 Wonders of the World.

Friday, Oct 26 (Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided.)

Enjoy a full day tour of Petra.

Saturday, Oct 27 (Breakfast and lunch are provided.)

Vist Wadi Rum and enjoy a 4x4 ride into the desert headquarters of Lawrence of Arabia. Enjoy a light lunch in Aqaba – on the Red Sea - then, proceed to the Arava / Rabin border crossing. Receive assistance with our border teams and then on to a short flight to Tel Aviv. We'll enjoy a self-pay dinner at a Tel Aviv restaurant, followed by your transfer to Ben Gurion airport for your flight home.

 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Up to 60 days prior to departure: $300 p.p.
59 to 31 days prior to departure: 50% of tour cost
30 days to day of departure/no-show: 100% of tour cost

 Full payment must be received by the Final Pay Due date listed on your invoice. If there is any outstanding balance by this date, a late payment fee of $50 per person will be added to your invoice. Travel services will automatically cancel on that date and be subject to reconfirmation. Payment of last-minute reservations (within 21 days of departure) and late payments must be paid by credit card

Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents and MUST CHECK with the respective consulate(s) or visa agency to determine whether any visas or passports are required. Passports should be valid for at least 6 months from date of departure from Israel. 

We highly recommend the purchase of comprehensive trip insurance.

The price per person is $4,579.00 per person/double occupancy. The single supplement is an additional $855.00.

Not included are beverages, meals not mentioned, international flights, or items of a personal nature not mentioned above such as laundry, wines, mineral water, beverages, coffee, tea, food other than the table d'hote menu, passport and visa fees, insurance, and foreign port taxes. or other incidentals or tips for drivers or guides. 

For the Extended Trip to Jordan:

The optional excursion to Jordan is an additional $1,455.00 per person /double occupancy (for at least four people participating). The single room Jordan supplement is $250.00.

Not included are: Israeli departure tax when crossing from Israel to Jordan (to be paid directly at border in Shekels, Dollars or credit card), beverages, meals not mentioned, international flights, items of a personal nature not mentioned above.

Deposit need to secure your spot is $350.00 dollars made out to Congregation Kol Ami.

Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing. Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received. All cancellations must be made in writing and be received prior to the tour departure date. Cancellation fees are subject to a processing fee of $50 plus any hotel and/or supplier charges incurred.

Deposits due by June 1, 2018. Payment required in full by July 15, 2018.
