We’re excited to announce a new addition to our schedule: Chair Yoga. This gentle, chair-based yoga class is designed specifically for senior members and those with limited mobility or physical pain, offering a supportive and accessible way to enjoy the benefits of yoga. This class is taught by Francesca Aster. Francesca is a Geriatric Resource Nurse, Public Health Nurse, and Board-Certified Pain Management Specialist with expertise in palliative care. Her background in pain management makes her particularly well-suited for chair yoga, as she understands how to support individuals dealing with chronic pain, limited mobility, and other health concerns. In addition to her medical experience, Francesca is a certified yoga and meditation instructor, blending her healthcare knowledge with the healing power of movement and mindfulness. As an active member of her local Jewish and LGBTQ communities, she fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. The class is free and open to all, however a $10 donation to Francesca is suggested.

Kol Ami is thrilled to begin our 8 session Song Circle on Shabbat afternoons, led by Cantorial Soloist Ronni Mardor and Rabbi Reznick. Whether you are an accomplished singer, or a total novice who wants to learn new melodies, come and join us for this fun jam session of new music. Together we will sing and lift our voices and spirits. Nosh & Drink will be provided to keep us quenched while we uplift one another with music.
