Volunteer at SOVA 2

Kol Ami is now volunteering at SOVA twice a month! Starting August 1st, we will be having volunteer groups on two Sundays a month, the second Sunday (our usual time) and now also the third Sunday of every month! We're excited to be offering this new opportunity for you to be involved in healing hunger.

"Is Religion Getting Us To LGBTQ Equality?" Educational Panel featuring Rabbi Eger

Be there for the first "Queering the Conversation" educational panel discussion on Thursday, November 13th, 2014: “Is Religion Getting Us To LGBTQ Equality?” produced by the THE LAVENDER EFFECT®.

It is our hope is that through this conversation we can mobilize the larger community to make our world a better place for LGBTQ and Allied people - to truly Tikkun Olam.

Rabbi Klein is the executive director of CLUE Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice and a leader in the protests against the custom of Kapparot--which promotes animal cruelty.  His timely sermon will educate us and teach us what we can do to stop this Jewish practice.  For more info go to www.kapparot.org
