It will be a special Shabbat service with our Schpiel and a Megillah reading all on a fun-packed Friday night, March 10, 2017 at 7 PM at Kol Ami!!

Simchat Torah Service

Simchat Torah Celebration!

Come join us as we begin the Torah cycle anew. We will dance, we will sing, and we will roll the scroll!

This is our celebration of ending our yearly cycle of Torah readings and beginning again in Genisis.

October 23rd Sunday at 7pm at Kol Ami

& 8 am Monday at Temple Israel for Yizkor

 located at 7300 Hollywood Blvd

 

 

Shabbat Service with Rabbi Eger & Ani Zonneveld

Ani Zonneveld is founder and President of Muslims for Progressive Values (MPV), a grass-roots faith-based human rights organization. Since its inception in 2007, Ani has presided over MPV’s expansion to include chapters and affiliates in 12 countries and 19 cities, and to securing consultative status at the United Nations. MPV advocates for egalitarian expressions of Islam, for women’s rights, LGBTQI rights, freedom of expression, and freedom of and from religion or belief.

Jennifer C. Pizer is Senior Counsel and Law and Policy Director for Lambda Legal, the oldest and largest national legal organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people and people living with HIV. Since joining Lambda Legal's staff in 1996, Pizer has been a leading voice for ending marriage discrimination against lesbian and gay couples, for stopping anti-LGBT discrimination in employment, health care, and education, and against the misuse of religion to discriminate.
