March 8: Nineteen Minutes: A Novel by Jody Picoult
(#1 banned book in schools 2023-24) This novel follows the unfolding and aftermath of a school shooting, and exposes a small town's prejudice, judgment and identity.
April 5: The Slauterman's Daughter by Yaniv Iczkovits
Set in the late 19th century, this is about two Jewish sisters in a far-reaching comedy of errors that will pit the czar’s army against the Russian secret police and threaten the very foundations of the Russian Empire.
