Join Rabbi Levy as he continues his exploration of prayer by diving deep into the Siddur or prayerbook.
Though we often don't think about it, the Jews interact with the siddur more than any other book in Jewish tradition. In previous centuries, if a Jewish family had a book in their home, chances are it was a siddur, where they recorded birthdays, yahrzeits, and brought in Shabbat and special occasions.

Yet, many of us have not taken time to study the siddur in-depth. In this bi-weekly series, Rabbi Levy will highlight the core structures and narratives that comprise the siddur, highlighting how it serves as an anthology of previous generations of Jews' thoughts, hopes, fears, and joys.
We hope you'll join him on Facebook, YouTube, or the Kol Ami website live on Thursday mornings at 9:30 am beginning on October 7!
