TOMORROW! Stories Beyond the Rainbow: An Evening of Original Queer and Trans Musicals Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 6:30 PM
This event is part of the City of West Hollywood's #WeHoPride programming. Join Kol Ami's Education Resident Eliana Rubin for a night of original music centered around queer and trans stories. All music is created by Eliana, and includes Jewsicals (Jewish musicals), short musical numbers based around our sacred texts, as well as songs that celebrate what it means to be part of the LGBTQ+ community. Halfway Home Discussion and Juneteenth Havdalah Saturday, June 18 at 3:30 PM Join the Tzedek Council and Anti-Racism Working Group of Kol Ami for a special book club discussion on Halfway Home: Race, Punishment, and the Afterlife of Mass Incarceration (click here to get the book). Vox Femina In Concert Sunday, June 12 at 3:00 PM Join VOX for an afternoon of music from one of Broadway’s greatest composers! Featuring songs from musicals such as West Side Story,Into the Woods, and Company, this hour-long concert includes performances from the full ensemble as well as dynamic solos from VOX singers. This event is free to the public.

Kol Ami requires proof of vaccination including at least one booster for all events for all those eligible for the Covid-19 vaccine. If you are not yet eligible for a booster, you must provide proof a negative test within 24 hrs of the event. While masks are optional at indoor events the Los Angeles County Health Department strongly recommends that you wear a mask indoors. At Kol Ami we are mindful that there are many people who are immune compromised and as an act of loving kindness (Chesed) and compassion (Rachamim) we recommend you wear a mask except when eating or drinking indoors.
