Mazal Tov! Mazal tov to Allan Rich and his writing partner Jud Friedman on the wonderful display about them as songwriters and their music on the third floor of the Hollywood Museum.
Rabbi Levy recently spent some time with Anna, one of the partners of the Russian family Kol Ami’s Tzedek Council has been helping support after they fled anti-LGBTQ persecution in Moscow. Thanks to your support, we delivered three bags of clothes and shoes along with $600 in cash and gift cards. The family’s immigration process will likely take months to process and will need our support.
We are asking for Visa, Target, or JONS International Marketplace gift cards to help with food and other basic necessities. Any little bit helps! If you’d like to drop off a donation at Kol Ami, please contact Rabbi Levy (rlevy@kol-ami.org). Also please contact Rabbi Levy if you'd like to receive updates on the family and our other Tzedek Council initiatives.
