Dear Congregants and Friends,
This year we experienced a special, hopeful, and uplifting High Holy Days together as we began our 30th year in our own Temple building! We created a marvelous community both online and in person; affirming life, goodness, and renewing the sense of community spirit so needed during these uncertain times.
Won’t you consider a High Holy Day pledge www.kol-ami.org/hhdgiving as an affirmation of our theme, Kadima: Forward? Rabbi Eger’s, Rabbi Levy’s, and Cantor Linsky’s prayers, sermons, and music helped us affirm life and challenged our thinking. We prayed with sincerity for healing for our family, friends, and our world. We heard the call of the shofar. We pledged to act for justice and to live our Jewish values each day. We promised to renew our commitment to building a world of justice and peace and wholeness and love. Now it is our task to create that world together.
We are counting on your continued support. Please visit www.kol-ami.org/hhdgiving to ensure our haven of spiritual strength and make a gift in honor of our 30th anniversary. Congregation Kol Ami is needed now more than ever as a conduit for good and as an amplifier of our Jewish values and our Jewish life.
Our prayer for this new year is that we focus on that which holds us together at the heart, that we highlight what we have in common, our shared bonds, and for us to show understanding and compassion for one another. As we celebrate our Temple, its history and we celebrate Rabbi Eger’s last year as our founding Sr. Rabbi,
you can help fulfill this prayer. If you have not yet made a High Holy Day donation/pledge, please make one now.
Help us build Kol Ami through the power of our prayers and our actions and celebrate our history! We ask you to make a gift in honor of the important work Congregation Kol Ami is called to do. And to reimagine our Temple, ourselves, and our world filled with refuah v’ tzedek v’ shalom, healing, justice, and peace.
Thank you, L’Shanah Tovah, and Chag Sameach,
